Tucked away a block off of Eisenhower Boulevard, Stuver's Riverside Nursery can be seen in full bloom as drivers crest the hill leading toward Riverside. Since the early days in 1948, when original owners Carl and Ellen Stuver were at the helm, the nursery has included family in the day-to-day operations.
Today's owner, Eric Stuver, is the nephew of the original owners. Together he and his wife Eileen own and operate the Nursery. Eric worked for his uncle 16 years before he and his wife purchased the business from Carl and Ellen in 1981. He is a Penn State graduate with a degree in Landscape Architecture and Nursery Management.
Today, the couple's son, Jesse and his wife Tammy, are an essential part of the business. We are a true family owned and operated business that proudly serves Greater Johnstown and the surrounding areas.
